LIMITED WARRANTY

A. Warranty Period. Ecoray (with the exception of PAR 38) is warranted by Naxandra Corporation to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase.  PAR 38 is not repairable and carries no warranty.

B. Warranty Procedure. During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (with the same or similar model) at our option, without charge for either parts or labor. Repairs generally take one or two business days.  You must first contact us and obtain a RMA number. Request maybe made through email or fax. State your name, address, email, product serial number, explanation of the problem and proof of purchase (copy of invoice/receipt). If you no longer have receipt, we maybe able to use the serial number to check date of purchase. You must bear all packaging, shipping and insurance costs. If possible, use the original packaging. Freight collect or shipment without a RMA number will not be accepted. Return the product with RMA number written on top of the box. Repaired product will be ship back to you, prepaid at our cost via Fedex or UPS ground. See Parts Replacement section below for simpler and cheaper warranty procedure.

C. Limited Liability. Our liability is limited to the cost of the defective materials. In no case will Naxandra Corporation assume liability for any injuries or consequential damage to property or livestock resulting from any failure. Not covered by this warranty are damage due to corrosion, alteration, abuse, accident, unreasonable or improper use.

D. Shipping Damage. Shipping damage is the responsibility of the carrier and claims for such damage should be made directly to the carrier.

Repairs after Warranty Period ends
Repairs after the warranty period but less than 4 (four) years from the date of purchase will be charged at a fee of $49 per incident, for Ecoray 60, 60D, 60DX, 72DX  and $59 for Ecoray 112D, 112DX for standard repair.  This fee includes up to 10 LED’s replacement, labor and shipping cost back to you. Additional LED’s replaced (over 10 LED’s) are charged at $2 each, fan at $10, LED driver at $20.00, fan driver at $10.   Repairs after 4 years from the date of purchase or repairs for damages due to corrossion, alteration, abuse, accident, unreasonable or improper use will be quoted on a case by case basis.

Parts Replacement

Sending your Ecoray for warranty repair may involve shipping cost and down time.  However, certain repair only require part(s) replacement which we can ship to you free of charge during warranty period and minimal charge after warranty period.  Follow the procedure below to determine if the repair needs simple part(s) replacement or it must be sent to us.

Ecoray 60/60D

There are 2 drivers inside, one for the blue LEDs and one for the white LEDs.  If all the blue LEDs or all the white LEDs are not working then it is possible that only the driver needs replacement. Follow this procedure: disconnect the power, open the enclosure, and switch the drivers inside.  If the LEDs that are working are now reversed (eg. white LEDs were not working before and now they are working or vice versa), then you need to replace one driver.  Check to make sure the fan is working. Contact us for part(s) replacement.

If, after you perform the above procedure and the LEDs that are working are still the same, then one or more of your LED bulb needs replacement.  For this model, if one LED bulb is not working, it will affect the entire LEDs of that color.  So if one blue LED bulb is not working, all the blue LEDs will not work. We recommend sending your unit for repair unless you are familiar with performing LED replacement repair which involves knowledge of using soldering equipment.  Contact us if you like to perform LED bulb replacement yourself.

Ecoray 112/112D

Please follow the procedure for Ecoray 60/60D above with the following difference.  This model has four drives.  Two drivers for the blue LEDs and two drivers for the white LEDs.  You may need to perform two switches for the two set of drivers inside to determine if one or more of the drivers are faulty. When you are performing driver switch, please note the LEDs that are not working so you can notice the changes after the driver switch.

Ecoray 72DX/112DX

These models have improved circuit design.  If one LED bulb is not working it will not affect any other LEDs.  Therefore if all the blue LEDs or all the white LEDs are not working then it is either one of the drivers or one of the dimmers is not working.   There are 2 drivers inside, one for the blue LEDs and one for the white LEDs.  Disconnect the power, open the enclosure, and switch the drivers inside.  If the LEDs that are working are now reversed (eg. white LEDs were not working previously and now they are working or vice versa), then you need replace one driver.  Check to make sure the fans are working. Contact us for part(s) replacement.

If after you perform the above procedure and the LEDs that are working are still the same, then one of the dimmers is not working.  These are quite rare.  Contact us for dimmer replacement.

Most customer will not notice a single LED bulb that is not working but if you wish to repair this, you can replace one of the LED boards.  There are 4 boards for 72DX and 8 boards for 112DX. Contact us for board replacement.
